A strong community for a strong future – Thöni celebrated its 2026 Family Festival

Last Saturday, Thöni opened its doors to staff and their families and hosted its traditional Family Festival. With glorious late-summer weather, the event once again proved to be a special occasion for people to meet, chat and share experiences. At the same time, the company sent a strong message about its commitment to showing appreciation and the importance of a strong sense of community.

The 2026 Family Festival once again offered a varied programme for young and old alike. Numerous interactive stations, games and activities generated excitement – and not just amongst the youngest guests. Popular attractions such as the escape room, the bungee trampoline and the spectacular crane ride over the rooftops of Telfs made the day a special experience for the whole family. Magicians and even a ‘mini-dino’ left everyone wide-eyed with wonder.

For Helmut Thöni, managing owner of the Thöni Group, the Family Festival is one of the most wonderful gatherings of the year and the perfect setting to express his gratitude to the staff.

“Especially in a time characterised by change and challenges, solidarity, commitment and trust are more important than ever. Our group of companies is constantly evolving and makes targeted investments in innovation, modern workplaces and the training of young people. The fact that we are now successfully positioned for the future is owed above all to the people who contribute to the company’s success every day through their knowledge, motivation and dedication. I would like to express my sincere thanks for this.”

The 2026 Family Day was therefore far more than just a social gathering. It once again highlighted Thöni’s appeal as an employer and showcased what sets its corporate culture apart: appreciation, team spirit and working together to shape a successful future.

With around 900 employees, Thöni is one of the region’s leading employers and enjoys international success through its Aluminium, Automotive, Sustainable Solutions and Hose Solutions business divisions. The sustainable success of this family-run business is based on expertise, innovative strength, reliability and a strong sense of community. Another key factor in this is the continuous development of skilled staff. At the Thöni Academy, more than 120 young people are currently being supported on their path into working life, whilst numerous employees are receiving targeted training and further education.
