In order to be able to implement Thöni’s sustainability and climate strategy more effectively and deliberately, Thöni was the first industrial company in Tirol to become a member of turn to zero – a voluntary network of over 190 companies and organisations with one common goal: to have a climate-neutral carbon footprint within the 12-year contract period.
Ecovadis
Sustainability rating for companies
Tens of thousands of companies work with EcoVadis to cooperate with a common platform, a universal scorecard, benchmarks and tools to improve their sustainability performance. Companies are awarded EcoVadis medals once they have completed the EcoVadis evaluation process and have demonstrated a relatively strong management system, which takes into account the sustainability criteria outlined in the EcoVadis methodology. The companies must also fulfil certain licensing and admission criteria.
