Thöni Hose Solutions GmbH
For more than 125 years, and since 1970 as part of the Thöni Group, high-quality layflat hoses and semi rigid hoses for the most demanding applications have been manufactured in Telfs, Austria.
On our circular looms, we use high tenacity multifilament polyester yarn to produce weavings that are optimally tailored to the respective requirements and serve as the basis for our hose models.
High-performance inner linings are inserted into these weavings and then rubberized in an automated vulcanization plant. To increase abrasion resistance, the hoses can furthermore be coated on the outside at our factory.
We also produce first-class and extremely robust TPU layflat hoses on one of the most modern extrusion lines currently available. In this highly complex process, developed in-house by Thöni, the thermoplastic polyurethane is pressed through the fabric in a single operation, calibrated, and then subjected to final testing.
In our research and development department, we work continuously on new materials, processes, and customized hose solutions in addition to numerous standard-tested hose models. This results in products that are technically advanced, extremely robust, and perfectly tailored to individual customer requirements.
